Just walked over to a friend's house, to detect for a while. Frist time detecting his house.
Found two wheaties, two clad dimes and some Lincoln cents and this.

I am still looking for it in my Red Book to see what it is, and unable to find or see a
date yet.

The E-Trac rocks:super:

Hi AJ.....Your coin.

Good old find.

Looks like a George II half penny......probably 1740's...........MattR.UK

I think it maybe this 1749 George II Halfpenny. Weight of my coin is 8.1g and 27.7mm, close
to 1749 Halfpenny. And the lettering: "GEORGIVS. II. REX" on Obverse and
"BRITAN NIA" Reverse matches.

Thanks Elevatorguy & MattR. I was doing a edit to thank you,
but my time ran out? Don't edit many post, so I am not famillar with
that stuff.

Just amazing to think a coin 260 years old and person who may have
lost it. Just leaves me speechless.

That's fabulous!--It just "blows me away" what you sometimes find in the most unlikely places with a M.D.---You just never know what that next "fish" is going to be.--CONGRATS
