:usaflag:Had Time For A Half Hour Hunt--3 Rings, 13 Cents And A Chucky Cheese Token!! :detecting:

Cupajo

Active member
I wanted to hunt the late tide today, but was informed of a commitment that prevented my doing so.

After my afternoon cup-a-jo I decided to take a quick spin on the dry sand in front of the two bars on our local beach known as Sound View and after just about a half hour my GT had found a dime, 3 pennies, a token scattered about the sand and three junk rings in one hole.

I cleared the targets from the hole one after another and on shaking out the scoop was stunned to see the flash of gold.

In full view of the whole beach I slowly slipped all three from my scoop into my shirt pocket and never missing a step proceeded to start hunting again as if they were just another pull tab.

I only found out later that I could have saved the effort for when I'm visiting Craigs turf!!

The 3 are now the proud possessions of my Granddaughter who is visiting for the day.

Great Hunt Lew.....Wet or dry you still pull the Treasure!

That's a ring every 10 minutes! Must be a record.
And always rewarding spoiling a grand daughter.
Cheers,
tvr

My Granddaughter decided she didn't want the rings.

At 11 she's already smart enough to avoid junk!! (She only wants the real rings!!!)

Makes her Old Grampa proud! :clapping:
