Just so those of you that are not into metal detecting understand---these treasures are the result of either five or six hunting excursions (I lost track!!) totalling 25 or more hours of hunting and digging!!

It's easy for a casual reader un-familier with "T Hunting" to not realize how much time and effort go into bringing home the prize even with the best equipment such as the Dual Field I've been using and years of experience!

Today it was only three hours and yesterday nearly four hours etc, etc!!

The salt air, mild temps and exercise make me happy and healthier so I'll keep on as long as I'm able!!

A small woman's senior ring dated 1920 of 14K gold as the old ones used to be!!

The other one is anyone's guess and the solitare too!!

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

Nice finds cj, congrats!

Steve

That's probably one of the best I've seen as the age of the ring is one that is worth keeping. It has allot of history. that's a great find, good for you:super:

More beautiful finds. And if you showed the trash you've dug, I am sure it would be a very big pile!

Looks REAL good on my end CJ, great job! Basically, if you don't enjoy the thrill of the hunt, you won't make it in this business! It is tough, but the prize is usually worth the effort, if you faint not! Keep 'em comin' ya looter! See if you can find the owner, they should be around 108, LOL!

Find it in the wet, dry..deep, water temp got to be hitting the 50's there.....Your a Animial CJ at 68? Joe

Thanks for all your kind replies Hunters!!

I could make more money working part-time anywhere, but it wouldn't be half as satisfying!!

I briefly thought about researching the owner, but when they are a woman it's close to imposible to locate them after marriages, divorces and so many have just moved into the hazy past!

I did hear fro the owner of the last senior ring I found and she will pick it up when next she is in the area!

That'll be 35 rings returned since 1982! (34 gold-1 silver)

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

I've noticed that there seem to be fewer large rings where I'm hunting and that I'm finding mostly smaller old rings.

I do like those old rings though!

Each one is a testament to the capability of the Dual Field.

I guess I'm to blame as much as anybody for the "ring shortage" here!!

Of course the deep sand is covering a lot of my hunting ground now, so I feel lucky to have found what I did!

Thanks for your kind replies Friends,:)

LOL! Too funny GH....Gotta love the oldie CJ....as you know, That's what Craig and I love to hunt for in the winter..sure be nice to get together this winter...nice going! ;)

This morning I spent several hours "beach-combing", picking up plastic and other trash on "my beach" during the Nor' Easter.

The winds have died down now and when the waves settle down I shall investigate the re-arranging of the sand to see if anything has been uncovered.

It looks as if the hunting may be better on the beach than in the water because the sand has been moved off the beach and is now one long slope to the water line.

This will make finds shallower than they were and thus in range of my machines.

With luck there will soon be new goodies to show you folks,

CJ
