:usaflag: Water Hunted a Few Hours on Saturday And Again Today :detecting:

Yesterdays hunt resulted in a mercury dime so eroded from the salt that it was mostly gone and what was left was paper thin.

There was a silver quarter circa 1940s and a couple of nickles.

I also found a small ring that seemed to have been some sort of plated metal, but had no markings.

Today resulted in a badly eroded penny, three nickles and a small 14K ring that is very old I would say from the style.

Of course there was the usual odd piece of junk here and there to be removed too.

Not too bad for a "hunted out" beach area. (Prime hunting ground for the Infinium!!)

GL&HH Friends,

in this summer heat. How hot did it get up there while you were finding the treasure? It was 101 degrees down here again today. Do you miss the Texas heat? Kelley (Texas) :)

Hi Kelley,

The Texas heat is the one thing I have never missed!

I have lived in Arizona, Florida and Vietnam and suffered the heat in all those places.

In years past the summers here in Connecticut have occasionally gotten hot with a few short periods of over a hundred degree temps.

That however is not the norm.

We are having one of the rainiest and coolest springs ever here and it has only reached the high 60s and for a short while the low 70s here.

There were a few warmer days, but they came and went so fast they might have been a dream!

Regards,

CJ

I was lucky to break away for a couple of short jaunts.

Looking foward to more soon.

I know there are more old and deeply buried treasures out there!

Best to you and your lady Friend,

CJ
