USGS Topographical Map Explorer

That's a good site. The interface is very nice...
 
The USGS has had some problems with their historical maps and are aware of it. After I contacted them last week, they got back in touch and said that their people were working on it, and it was functioning, hopefully, at the time we talked later in the week.

I checked your link, which i did not have before, but used a link on their webpage which displayed differently. Today, when I used your link, the maps came up, but the downloading process was very slow. but working.

Thanks for this great link, it really helps you see whats available for the area that you are checking at a glance
