Using the ET in quickmask, wide open... like SE in AM/ferrous. Fewer tones but as workable...

I was hunting with someone yesterday who was using an SE Pro. When I tried using QM wide open it seemed to be very comparable tp the SE. I don't think there is as many tones but it seem's to work as well. According to Andy you lose whatever "see through" ability the ET has when you do this but it seem's to wrok just like the Explorer. I like using mine in 2 tone; ferrous; QM open... I also like relic mode; 2 tone; ferrous; Fast on or off; deep off. I have not worked much in conductive but what little I have used it I like it too for coin shooting.

A slow swing and 2 tones ferrous seems, to me, to reduce falsing more than anything else i've tried.
