V3i back from Whites for repair! Some interesting finds

I just got my V3i back from whites repair, 10" DD Coil went bad and they replaced it! I will always buy from Whites!
I went over to a construction site near an old catholic church to test it out.
There is tons of iron bits in the ground. Should I be using a smaller coil and faster recovery speed. Any other tips?
Here are a few of my finds from today. They look pretty old.

Spent a few hours hitting the construction site. Lots of old brass bits and junk.
One cool find was this neat looking button.
It has a snake in the middle and the texture looks like reptile scales.

It does look kind of like a snake but don't you think it is just the button shank flattened? What is on the other side of the button?

Oops! You are right! I figured because it was concave that it would be the front and not the back.
Good eye!

nice finds. Try a higher filter see if that would help with the iron bits.

Time to 'correlate'and small-coil that site, with moderated sense., levels..........wish I were there...

Try simply standing still, and working the radial limits, diligently.

Sounds like an intriguing spot to detect........matt
