I have gotten pretty much everything figured out with the new V but Correlate is still not clear to me exactly.
Could someone help shed some light on this.
Thank's

Best Data

I was just talking to Anne Monday.

Best data has the best chance of seeing deeper. But correlate can come close or equal depending on settings. The tighter one makes the span, the less depth one will get since deeper targets will have ferrous ground influencing their signal more and more. If the span is wide enough, the loss of depth may not be noticeable.

Since correlate has a span setting and iron tends to bounch around many iron targets outside the span limit can be rejected. The same for EMI, correlate can run quieter under these conditions.

I guess I am not real clear on the Span part of this feature.
