Yes they are exactly the same except for the i decal. Rob
 
Hi Sonny,

Rob is right. When we receive a V3 in for the upgrade - we format the unit and everything is completely erased then the V3i software is downloaded from scratch. The V3i software that is downloaded is identical to the software loaded onto a brand new factory V3i. Some thought that a few simple changes were downloaded and added to the exsisting software but that is not the case.

& didn't they upgraded the head display unit also - something about the assembly screws I think.........
