The 10" d2 coil is water proof, correct?

Is the display water resistant?

Can I set the search function for single frequency and pinpoint in all three? If so how do I set the pinpoint part for three freq?

How do I access the polar plot?

Thanx!!

Yes

No

No

If you search in 3 freq, then the v3i also pinpoints in 3 freq.

How do I access the polar plot?

Push the pinpoint switch forward to analyze. Also analyze option needs to be set to polar instead of sizing.

Thanx!!

The display pod should be VERY water resistant as long as the factory display protector is on and the pod itself has an O ring between the two parts. I have hunted in the rain and many showers over the years with NO problems of moisture getting into the display.

You just have to be careful. I have also hunted in rain but have nice covers that take the brunt of it. Coil is waterproof but be careful, the shaft is hollow and if there is water in this void when the detector is laid down horizontal the water can and will run down the shaft into the control box. OUCH!
