I just bought a Eclipse 950 search coi for a Whites V3i and when I tried it out I got no target ID, Is this normal or do I have a problem? Any help would be nice.

It sounds like you might have bought a defective coil......:shrug:
 
If you just bought the coil you must have another coil. Put that coil on and if you don't have the problem your 9.5 is bad.
