It sounds as though another lost soul has saw the light. My guess is the Vaquero opened a can of whoop ass on his detector during the relic hunt. Doesn't surprise me.....the Vaquero rocks !

You're right on Joe Dirt. We were all hunting the same small area, crossing each others path constantly. Nothing out of the ordinary was found that day. It was a hard hunt. There were detectors there ranging from $400.00 to a $1000.
All I'm saying is that the fellow using the Vaquero dug twice as much lead and brass as the rest of us put together. Perhaps that was just that day, another day at a different area could be different., but who's to say. All I know is that Vaquero killed it and i'm gonna get one no matter what my wife says.
Willie. The Lost soul
If I send my address, will you send it to me after your wife kills you?

better to send it before
Hm-m-m. That's why I never get one.

that's why I'm not married

You guys need to stop. I had at one time decided NOT to buy any more detectors-then ended up with a Compadre. Now this Vaquero, it can't be all that much deeper-can it?

The proof is in the pudding. I know that I really love my Vaquero.

I've read enough posts where people said that they have gotten rid of their heavy complicated expensive detectors and are now swinging Vaqueros to know that I'm not the only one who knows that a Vaquero is a fantastic detector.

The Tesoro Vaquero is a must have detector.

I said the same when I Bought my compadre and a year after, here is the Vaquero :)

I would say that if you use to hunt parks, the vaquero won't give you more finds than the Compadre, in fact I would prefer the compadre for that task, but for woods and relic hunting the Vaq is a good detector. Now this is my last detector, and I mean it :O
