Very odd puffy quarter

This thread is like that Oak Island show. Will it ever be figured out?? At least the treasure WAS found here. 😉
You mean they Actually found something after upteen seasons ???
Probably found it the second week.
But had to recover cost of production.
Plus the multi millions payed to the Actors.

Where is the general geographic location in which it was found? Do you have freeze-thaw cycles where you are at? Shot in the dark but could have water infiltrated between the sandwiched layers of the quarter and then froze?

I found this quarter this week not knowing it was a quarter I thought it was a button until I felt the edges it was reeded.
It’s like it was filled with air and expanded on both sides it’s puffed out?
Anyone ever see a quarter like this?
It’s a newer quarter newer design any way.
It was in a fire. After Hurricane Sandy, a fire broke out on the boardwalk. Lots of coins were melted and puffed up like yours.
Sorry, not home, otherwise Id show pictures, Coin was exposed to heat and the clad has separated. Maybe a campfire ???

I was referring to the puffy quarter. I never watch that sh!t show
It was interesting in the beginning.
Then drama and greed rolled in.
Proper GPR would have showed anything down to a hundred plus meters.
Nope don't watch it nor most of the gold shows.
Except Outback Gold Fever.
Australian gal. Getting quite good actually.
And the old Buzzard GPAA shows.
