Veterans Day metal

Active member
Found this on Veterans Day on a hunt with a fellow veteran and two law enforcement officers. We had a great hunt, but not alot of finds. Enjoyed a meal on the Texas Steakhouse afterwards. I presented this metal to my lovely wife of 45 yrs. for putting up with me so long. We were married 6 months after I returned from Nam.

Congratulations on the find and Congratulations to the two of you for the work that you did to make your marriage last for 45 years and counting. My Wife and I celebrated 50 years this past June.

Thanks fellas. The necklace is .925 and I think the stone is genuine because it was about 6-8" deep and has no scratches or chips. George, Golden Congrats to you and your wife on 50 yrs. You are right it does take alot of work that unfortunatly alot of folks are unwilling to do these days.

I did not, my draft numbers were never called, then Nixon ended the war.
That's why I am so appreciative of the sacrifices of others such as yourself.
Glad you made it back.
BTW, beautiful find.

Nice find, but even better because your wife will enjoy it!

Wow that is purty! Thanks for your service Grunter ;)
