Did you go with the intentions of digging the lower numbers also? Did you notice if the tabs and ring numbers were close to each other? You did good. HH John

Out of a handful of pull tabs...Only 2 types hit in my pattern..And i can tell when i hit them..they kinda break up a tad and wont repeat every swing..I made that pattern to Find Gold Rings...That was the sole purpose of it..I can dig all my coins, avoid 90% of all pull tabs and still get nickles..That ring hit just to the left of nickles...almost right on .Very loud and repeated every direction..But the key is just Dig all the lower tones..the ones that fall into your discrim pattern that is..You have to allow a few thru or u will miss certain gold..The pattern i made seems to allow all the gold i tested to hit, including 10 carat.I didnt have a 24 carat piece to test, but i would think it should hit right where 18k and foil does.Thx for watching :)

I know that "alright!" feeling! It is such a thrill to pull a nice gold ring! I have found only one with my E-Trac, but over a dozen with my Ecal2. Yesterday I took them all outside and ran the pro-coil over them. My results mirrored those in Andy's book on page 126, but with even more variation. The one thing I did notice was the stability of the signal, no variation at all or maybe a one digit change in CO. All of my good rings have come from the beach where I dig everything that is not iron, but I am now digging everything with a clear stable signal in parks as well. I think of it as a public service, removing all those PT from our parks. HH Terry

Ok the last shot on the video is the pattern..Its kinda dark sorry..If you cant see it ill make a New vid of it..Here are the settings---Sensitivity Auto Plus 3 (this will vary on your site) Threshold Level--16(You can just hear it,but the signals are Louder) Volume limit--30 volume gain---30 response ---Normal Threshold pitch---30 TONE ID ----No of tones---Multi sounds--conduct variability---21 limits---30 EXPERT MENU recovery deep--off recovery fast--off trash density---High Ground---Difficult This is working well for me..And i do not feel i am missing any deep signals. The settings make a small gold earing sound off well at 4 inches with the pro coil. This program works well with my 18x15 s.e.f also..I havent tried my 5 inch excelerator yet..With some practice i think the chance of digging jewlery will increase running this.Im always open to idea and suggestions..This works well for me ,but you may not get same results depeding on you area.Hope you all have some great hunting..I put another vid up from this mornings hunt ...Some good results with my testing.I'll toss the vid in a new post.

Congrats on the ring!!! several of us were working on a program for gold rings seems you may have one worked out. The last shot was a little dark on the video but we'll look for your post in a few days. Thanks for sharing the settings!!!
