Nice green color on that Indian. And LOL - "Indians rolling in pretty good this year" - sounds like fishing language. Then you say you lady leaves right after you mentioned she wasn't getting anything. Dry humor that was unintended I think!

Nice old silver and deeper. Great job. Would love to hear a signal /see a screenshot on a deeper target like that in your soil.

earthmansurfer, this site has a million nails/iron. The first signal in the field was a deep 01-32 hit from 2 directions. I dug fairly deep, even with one hand it was easy with all the rain we have had, field was very soft. It was a pewter spoon handle. So after than I dug about 10 more signals that were 01-30's and they all turned out being rather large rusty square nails. I dig these because I have found several indians that came in at 01-31 area. When I got this last signal I was for sure it was another nail, but what did I have to lose? If I had the slightest idea it would be a seated dime at 9" I would have recorded the signal. I was in TTF because like I mentioned this site is iron infested. This place has been gone for over 100 yrs, the best I can tell it was tore down by 1900 or before, the NEWEST indian found there was 1880s. So imagine 100 yrs of farming dragging nails back and forth across this field....pretty intense iron. TTF was my only option. I tried conductive and couldn't get a peep of threshold.
 
Congrats on the seated and indians, that is a good start for sure.
Question: are you having to type with one hand if so you are doing a good job?
In my job I use the keyboard all day long and can't imagine having to use only one hand.
 
nope I type with two hands, but I am a finger pecker.....lol. I never took typing in school. I can peck about 30 words a minute :clapping:
 
I didn't know if you could use your hand on the arm that had surgery, even for typing.
 
First of all...thank you for the video..Being a noob e-trac user, I love seeing videos! Secondly, WOW WOW WOW....a CC mint mark on a seated dime! That would be the find of the year for me! Congrats!

thank you, but the 1876 and 1877 CC are some of the highest minted seated dime made. I see a lot of those two yrs dug and posted on the forums
 
Goes, did you say 01-36 on the seated? I would probably have just passed that right off and moved on... ya never know. Hows your wife like the Xterra Is it a 705. Been thinking of getting one for an alternate lightweight machine.

yes 01-36, the depth meter was buried. I have dug MANY, many old coins DEEP that had a ferrous of 01

my wife like the xterra, it is super light and easy to use. The 1st year I had it 2009, I dug 110 silver, 57 indians, and 500+ wheats. It is a good machine for the money! way, way better than an AT pro...lol
 
Why does it seem that great finds show up just when you are quiting?!
