VX3 Questions

I traded for a VX3 and it is supposed to arrive today. I was just looking for a good base to begin with. Program, tones, sensativity etc. I konow I am going to have to go out and dig a bunch of trash to get used to it but a good starting point would be nice.

I am a fellow new guy swing the same machine. I am running the stock program "coin & jewelry". I have been finding stuff. The VX3 has bit of learning curve but fun is in the learning!

Go in the menu and restore everything before you even hunt with it

I might suggest calling White's factory and have them walk you through a master reset, sure won't hurt anything and you know you are starting with a clean slate. Since you have at least some experience with detectors, I would suggest in this order the Hi Pro program, Relic or Coin and Jewelry with the VCO turned on as good starting points.
