W/M use in the rain?

Bromly

Member
I just watched the latest video, and the instructor mentioned that the wireless module is not water proof. I admit I already knew this, however it just hit me.If I'm out detecting and using the wireless module, should it start to rain, I guess I'm done hunting.Unless I own a water proof head phone. Is this correct? Or can I remove the w/m then just plug in my hp and continue?

Thanks
Ken

One option would be to simply use the built in speaker. Another option might be to enclose the W/M in a waterproof plastic bag. But I agree the best option is to have the waterproof headphones. I don't think using your own headphone would necessarily be a good option since the standard headphone connector on the CTX is not water tight.
