I ran into a real odd ball recently. Found a Hunter fan on a pedestal that wasnt working. Looked almost new and needed to take it apart. It had a screw with a triangle insert !!!!You always need the tools that work best for what you're doing and where you're at. Having a straight and Phillips screwdriver kit will let you get by with a lot of work....until you run into a hex or torx head bolt. Then you need a hex and torx key set. Detectors are tools. I'm looking for a specific one. Not a one size fits all.
Like they say, you need the right tool for the right job !!! Sure enough went on the big A and bought a set of triangle bits. Being Im not electrically minded, it all looked good inside.
Probably a bad switch but it was beyond my scope.
If Daniels wants to buy a triangle, then let him be !!!
Good luck,
