Being an Aussie (or other non USA detectorist) would be nice to somehow be able to put our own coins and discrimination zones into a detector. To my knowledge there are no Aussie detectors or programmable detectors. I would also like to be able to associate a chosen tone to chosen number. That's my two cents worth for today.

The White's V3 will let you program any tone for any number, one tone per number or use the same tone for as many numbers as you like.
The Minelab Sovereign, Explorer, and E-TRAC all have progressive tones with higher numbers.
The F75 has Delta Pitch for different tones per the number.

Not sure what you need...

@Jbow. Thanks for the info on the tones program re:V3. Will read up on that in the instructions. Just trying to figure out a way of having one and two dollar Australian coins make the same nice tone that wakes me up when I start detecting in dream land. With the F2 the Australian two dollar comes in at tone 3 (medium tone) and the one dollar (slightly bigger coin) comes in at tone 4 (high tone). The Aus two dollar is just before the tone change into high. Wish they were both in the high tone range.
