Watch out for this new retailer scam (Bass Pro)

This isn't MD related but please allow me to vent a bit.

I ordered from Bass Pro recently when they advertised "2 Day Free Shipping". What I got was standard 1 week standard shipping. They said 'Oops, we messed up. Sux to be you huh?' (ok I may have misquoted, but that was the gist of it.)

I would normally chalk it up to a mistake, but this has happened before with that bunch + also recently happened to me with a different company. So beware this Bait and Switch that seems to be getting more commonplace.

If you contacted the retailer that you bought from and nothing resulted--write the Main Office that franchises.
Contact your c.c. company, explain--say dealer would not honor their advertised promotion-there may be charges to be removed..
Also contact your state Atty Gen., the FTC, and the USPS Postal Inspector. (BBB too)
Last but not least an attorney--if this conduct is widespread-get a suit certified as class action.
(a discovery action on the company by an attorney.....can be eye opening!)
You order again and it happens--refuse it--then contact c.c. company and state, "never received."
It takes determination and effort on your part though to get things moving
