Water tektin gear??

Ok so while awaiting to see what dealers may have the CTX in stock I would like to see from some of you more experienced guys/gals what type of equiptment, clothing, etc. is best suited for all types of water hunting? Weather it be salt, fresh, shallow wading or dry sand. Right now I have the Star Line Titanic water scoop. Not sure how its going to perform yet. Is there any other specific "must haves"?? Thanks and HH Joe

A good finds pouch. I cant stress this one enough. Having a pouch that is easy to use in the water, and that you can add things to without loosing things already inside of it is really the key.

Oh, one more thing. Even for very shallow water, I always use goggles and a snorkel so that I can see what is going on. I recover a lot more targets with goggles than without. having a scoop is great. Having a scoop with goggles and a snorkel is a whole new game.

I wonder if this thread is not more suited in the metal detecting forum as it is not CTX specific. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets moved so don't be offended if it does.

HH -Marc
