Got off to a slow start and had to wait for the farmer to get back from the farmers market.So we drove around a little and did some woods.The farmer put us on a field down by the river.It was slow,Scott get a Crowdell bell and a flat button just after Scott said he wanted a bell, pop he found one and I got a watch key,small ball,and flat button.Most of the houses along the road dated back to the 1700's so ya know we'll be back there some day.Scott was getting board so I played fetch the keys and as you can see he was a happy man again.Enjoy

....that .was fun. Funny I said I wish I would dig a crotal bell and then 20 minutes later I dug one. I cleaned it up and it still has the pea inside....nice sounding bell. Now to find one with the shank intact.
Next time I burn a wish on finding something I need to use it on....say..a pine Tree Schilling.....!!!
Can't wait till they cut that corn field down....that oughta be good!!!

...oh fer sher....can't wait to get back down there...plus when the corn in that field is down we should hit it again. The corn is taking up 70% of the fields. Also you know that small hay field by the road on the way out has stuff...always does close to the road!!!
Sorry about the cell phone mixup...felt bad you had to come back up to Portsmouth for it....but my wife got to meet you. She thought you was nice!!!
