Got back out for a while each of the last two days, both times in local parks. Found the (1938D) merc (8") and wheat (10") in the same park where I found the Washington and merc last weekend. Found the ring at park I've only found a couple of wheats before. It came in at 12-47 at a depth of 5". Thinking it might be a Washington. ..cut the plug and when I flipped it over, the ring was on the bottom of the plug. Supposed to get some snow Monday and Tuesday, so am guessing it will be a little while before I get back out.

HH all.

What are the laws in Colorado for detecting?

Moonshine, like most states I've checked, detecting is restricted in state and national parks. Several cities also have restrictions. When planning a day-trip, I google the towns I plan to visit to see if they have published restrictions...and if in doubt, I call the city parks department. I've never detected in Denver, but am told that only probes are allowed, while other municipalities in the Denver metro area do not allow detecting at all on city property.
