Well the week of vacation is over. Got out about 3 hours every day. Went to Atlantic City Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while my daughter was at dialysis. Spent the first hour or more all three days searching the wet sand. Found two pop tops and that is it. No coins at all. Went up to dry sand the remainder of time and found about $2.50 each day. I searched north of the pier the first day and south of pier last two days. There was one section south of pier I could not detect do to electrical interference. Paid $5.00 each day to park, so this put me in the hole.
Ocean city was alittle better hunted mostly wet sand. Also found about $2.50 each day plus 2 earrings. One is sterling and the other might be sterling according to my wife. Also one small ring that looks gold but is not and lastly a pendant with 18 nitros. I added a three piece travel straight rod on my Excal since last year. What a difference that made over the original shaft. I could hunt for three hours without switching arms. Now it's the long wait till my next beach visit. HH
