Weekend Finds! Part:1. :detecting:

If I go to ND with the wife (she's from ND), I'm afraid I won't see her much. I'll be to busy (I hope).
Just nice James, just very nice.

Congrats on the Gold Wedding Band and the Girls Class Ring! Do you plan on trying to return the Class Ring? Yeah, this Fairgrounds has some good finds in it, but you have to work really slow in order to find a lot of it. I hope to find a Half Dollar but I doubt if I will be that lucky. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you buddy!

What Town is she from again? If you ever do make it this way, I might be able to help you out with some sites. Thanks again for looking at my finds. I am sure you aren't the only one here doing a Double Take at my post. Heck, I am surprising myself when I keep finding the amount of Older Coins like I have been lately. Just shows that the sites are out there, one just has to find them. Good Luck and HH Tab-Nabit on your next outing.:detecting:

I also love the noisy areas, most all my silver comes from somewhat masked signals or nice signals at 6 to 8 inches that other detectors can't hear. I love the XS and would never go back to my whites. Been hooked on XS for 5 years.

Glen Ullin - ND
I actually have recently found a new spot that has been producing (nothing like your doing), and I'm hoping it gets better after some rain.
I been doing terrible for a few years but I didn't give up. It's posts like yours that help keep me going. I know there can be up and down cycles for me and I'm on an up swing since I found a new spot. To me I guess it's like fishing, some seasons better than others. Now to slow down some and find the better producing spots in this area.
Nice pics you have there - and maybe the next time my wife goes to ND, I'll take a vacation from work.

Just remember to think positively when hunting this New Spot of yours. Nothing worse than telling yourself that it is a waist of time or the spot is cleaned out. I hope you do well and Good Luck and HH to you when you return to that spot.

Had a Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro Select 220-D for a few years and I was lucky to find anything 6" deep with it. It found a few Old Coins but lets not compare the Explorer XS to this inferior machine. Ah What The Hell!!! Let's just say my Old Coin finds went thru the roof and they still are with my Trusty Explorer XS! I hope my Explorer XS will keep on tickin' for a long time to come. Good Luck and HH!:detecting:

Needs to be brought in for a tune up by me:devil: you need a penny in the coil cover so some of us up here has a chance to find something. I got to post Tim finds he got in a quick half hour or so when I get a chance to take a picture of it. Not a lot of coins, but a few nice ones.
I would love to go with you on Saturday, but have a guy coming with a back hoe to dig up a broken water line at the bar going to the trailer so I have to be here. Maybe we can get out on Sunday if everything goes right.

I got to say you do gets some nice coins and quite a few of them and many may think there is a lot of great sites up here, but there isn't unless you spend the time for research and do a lot of driving it getting hard to even find much clad anymore.

Rick

If it doesn't rain on Sunday, it would be great if you can attend. I will keep an eye out on the Radar this weekend and see if there will be any breaks in the weather. Good Luck and HH if you make it out.

The ability to hear your target in the ground and listen to those more experienced and learn from. I'm hoping to graduate from the HAVE NOTS in the near future

If you have a Smaller Coil and work heavy Trash Areas with a Stock Coil, why not try the Smaller Coil in the Trash. Separation is Key in Trashy Areas and the Stock Coils will and do leave good finds behind. Looks like you will be graduating very soon Holedigger! Who Knows! Maybe even ahead of your Class!:bouncy: Good Luck and HH to you. :detecting:

Tim like I say was bow hunting and had a little while to detect so he stopped some place on Saturday, but wont say were yet and got a good hit that read quarter, but there were 2 targets with both reading quarters. He dug the first one and got this.

Now he went over the second quarter hit and dug out the first barber dime which he thought was odd to read this high on the meter and stuck the X1 probe back in the hole and got another good signal and was hoping for a barber quarter. The second one was a nice 1917 merc same year as the quarter which is the type 1. He get back up and swing the coil over the ground again and still a good signal and get the second barber dime, so we feel all this was lost at one time as the quarter was in one hole while the 3 dimes in a hole about 2-3 inches away. This was all with in the first 15 minutes he was there and left this spot to come back latter on.

I just turn 60 years old on Thursday and wanted to go detecting, but my wife made a appointment at the dentist for me, now I got to get all my teeth pulled out, it is hell getting old.

You must have seen either an Old Abandoned House or you tried where an Old School House sat.:ninja: Nice Finds! You should take Rick with you when you go back.:twodetecting: He could use a few more Silver before the year is over. Sorry to hear that you have got to loose all your Teeth Rick. You best remember from now on that when you get mad a Dean Kelm, there will be a High Possibility of you Spittin' Teeth if you over do it during one of your Friendly Talks :argue:you 2 have!:lmfao::rofl::crylol: Hope the weather holds out and the Rain stays away this weekend. Keep the good finds coming Tim! Good Luck and HH to you both.
