This weekend it sure was a tough one to hit much silver but there was a lot of good stuff found though. I was out with 2 other hunters on Saturday. Dale found a bunch of Wheats,4 Indians,a couple silver Roosevelts,a few Merc's,a Walker,a Sterling Pin,and a Barber Dime. Dan found a few Wheats,a New York World's Fair Token,a silver Roosevelt Dime, and a Mercury Dime. All together we had something around 15 silver on Saturday with Dale having most of it. I found 6 silver for the weekend which were 6 Mercury Dimes dated 1928,1934-d,1936,1940,1942-d,and 1944-d. I found 2 Nickels which included a Buffalo dated 1917 which was high grade but the ground formed a bubble on the head of it and when I tried removing it, I accidentally took some of the head off. The other Nickel was a Jefferson dated 1941-s. I found a Good Luck Token from Argyle, Minn also. I found 7 Indians this weekend dated 1891,1898,(2)1900,1901,1902,and 1907. I also found another 36 Wheats dated No Date,1911,(2)1914,1917-s,1919,(2)1920,1924,(2)1926-d,1930,1930-d,1934,1936-d,1937,1940-d,1941-d,(4)1944,(3)1944-d,1945-d,1946-d,1947-d,1950-d,1953,1953-d,(2)1955-d,(2)1956-d,and 1958-d. I also found 1 Canadian Penny dated 1942. I found a few Misc. Items that include 1 Copper Ring, 1 Copper Ring with Foreign Writing on it, 1 Mickey Mouse Ring from the 1930's (it is the first Mickey Mouse Ring and books between $75 to $150.),an old Eveready Amperes Meter that has a Pat. Date of Aug. 9, 1910, and 2 different Cuff Links. Hope I can do better next weekend as far as Silver goes but sure had fun digging what I did get.
