Weekend of silver, indians, and relics

Friday after work I hunted with my buddy Curt and we door knocked at an old house, scored an indian and a 1935 Washington.

Saturday went on a road trip with BadJim and we were not getting anything until the last spot we tried and I had a 11-44 at 4"on the etrac and I thought great another clad, but boy was I wrong, it was a 38 cent coin spill consisting of 3 mercs, a 1939 nickel and 3 wheats, saved the day!

Sunday (today) did a door knock with Hollis and I got 2 indians, another merc, cool old brass padlock, kids brass ring, neat old hair barrett and few wheats, good weekend of friends and good finds!

You don't find coin spills like that very often so I'm sure it was a rush when you found that one. WTG on the nice finds....

That's really nice. I'm jealous. I went out with the wife to a pounded park and found basically nothing. Trash and some costume jewelry. She spent about an hour and found a handfull of clad and a small (3mm) 14k wedding ring...all with her ancient whites SL90.
How embarrassing.
:)

One heck of a nice 3 merc coin spill!
With 38 coins i doubt it was an accidental spill, buried on purpose maybe by some kid?

Congratulations on your successful weekend hunts Terry! Thanks for the pictures.
