Just ordered a Eurotek Pro with the 11"DD coil from Larry at NWI Detectors. This will be my first Teknetics detector. My primary detector is a Minelab Sovereign XS which I have a lot of success with but I've been hankering for a nice lightweight fast recovery coinshooter for modern clad and iron trash hunting and the Eurotek seemed to fit the bill for what I was looking for. I shouldn't have any problem pinpointing with the DD coil as I am an old veteran of that with Minelab detectors. I really like the idea of the iron indicator and separate volume levels for it as well. That's a really nice feature on a detector at this price range! I like to run my disc wide open to avoid any target masking so this should be interesting. I really need this for my back yard which is full of nails. I live in an apt. that's in a huge turn-of-the-century building and have been having a blast digging up some old history here. So far though, the only silver coin has been a merc dime. I have found plenty of wheats and some IHs as well so I KNOW older silver is here somewhere under all those nails! Hope the EuroTek can sniff them out. HH George PS:Still working on getting the wife to detect with me so I hope she takes a swing at it. She doesn't want to wear the "goofy headphones" so I may have to let her go without them. Whatever works I guess. LOL

You'll like the Eurotek, I got one for my wife and I liked it so well I got one for myself. We have two 8" coils, one 11" DD and a 5" coil, they are a fun little detector and work real well. My wife doesn't like or use headphones either.

You're going to be amazed. I did the same as SkiWhiz & have both the 8" and 11" version. They are both amazing. They sure can work the iron trash. Now I gotta buy the 5" coil. They work VERY well in this Oregon ground, very deep.

Thanks for pulling the trigger George I'm right there with you guys too! My wife has gone with me a few times this summer and of all the detector choices she has, she chooses the Euro pro with a 5 inch on it. She won't wear goofy headphones either as she puts it
