Well, let's end this and get it all out and with any luck get back to what this forum .........

, some of the posts i do not especially care for, but that is ok too, I sure as hell don't have to read them, political or otherwise, and I think this is still one of the better forums on the web, a little bit of everything can be found on here, and that is good too, but I gotta admit a few of you take things too damn serious and get your feathers all rufled up and make some hasty remarks that would serve better if left unsaid, and that is good too I suppose, hell why don't we all just stop crying and whining and continue with the forum pretty much as it has been going, if someone don't like a post they sure as hell don't have to read it and even worse at times reply to said post, this is my feelings, maybe Findmall should have a ' Crying Forum", for some of us on here, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, if i am banned or ignored or worse for posting a few of my thoughts about this all, then so be it, hell why don't some of you pick up your detector and go hunting instead of posting , lol see ya , vic

from the last 6 weeks. Were there too many political posts? Yeah.....probably so. Is this a big deal? It's certainly not to me because I don't read a lot of them. Real simple, if you don't like them, don't read them. Further, the statement that such posts now "run our forum" makes no sense to me. I see it as a minor segment of the posts.

Looks to me like our real problem is a very few members who've decided the forum has to be their way or they won't participate. :pulltab:

Far worse than that, there's even been a good bit of name-calling. :pulltab: :pulltab: :pulltab:

If members can't be a little flexible, maybe we'd be better off without their participation. If members can't disagree without name-calling I'm pretty sure we'd be better off without them.

Just my .02 worth.

Folks, we post on this forum because we like the family atmosphere that prevails here. We nurtured that atmosphere and have made this forum one of the best and friendliest on the web. The biggest drawback or handicap (challenge) that we have here is that it's a "print", not an "audio" media. When you express an opinion, whether in truth or in jest, no one knows what your purpose was in making the statement. Maybe using one of the emoticons would help, I don't know. If you feel that you must return a comment, in support or in contest, just think first of how the comment will be received by others. We all know that you have to be thick skinned to survive on this forum, because all of us like to, good naturedly, pick on each other occasionally. Remember, we all have the right to an opinion, but we also have the right to not express that opinion if it's going to start an argument where a forum friend might be so offended by a post that wasn't meant to be offensive, that they go away. If no one challenges or supports an unpopular post, it is held as the opinion of the poster and it dies where it was posted, unanswered. Remember, it's your choice/ that's my opinion, and I won't argue about it because I have friends here who may have different opinions.:surrender:
