Went back again to the HUNTED OUT PARK 2day!

Went to the same hunted out park to day. Here is my finds. 8 clad quarters, 5 clad dimes, 6 nickels, 16 junk penny's, one 1937 Buffalo Nickel, three Wheat's 1934-1945-1956D and one 1957D SILVER QUARTER. Not bad for the second time there. I think I might go back a few more times. Thanks for all the great comments. This is starting to be a lot of fun. I hope it stays warm here all winter.

That's the kind of hunted out park I love! Good finds....yet again.

Very nice!!! Most of the Buffalo nickels I find, I can never get a date off of. I check the red clay here in Virginia just eats em up.

Fantastic finds for a hunted out park! What coil and setup did you use at
this park?

We should redefine the expression "hunted out" to "hunted out without etrac" , two completely different things it appears.

No park is ever hunted out unless it has been hunted with an etrac....... Seriously, even then there is probably still a lot of coins to be found. I found a deep dime yesterday in a real small area I had hit before but this time I had the 6" excelerator coil on and I was barely able to hit it from one way.

Yep never hunted out like gjedda63 said.
Always new things to try like Bil_S did, smaller coils. different approach directions/sweep speeds, larger coils, different settings like manual instead of auto, and Two Tone Ferrous etc. makes an old spot like new again.
To me this is what keeps it fun and interesting and always challanging.

Congratulations (again!). I have been hitting the same spot and now hit it from different angles. I really notice a difference as some of the deeper coins only hit from 2 directions.

Definitely go back. Amazing that you got silver, must have been in iron. I mean most low freq detectors hit silver fairly deep so you must be doing something right.

Great finds - congrats !

I used the stock coil for this park and Andy's coin pattern with some adjustment as you will see in the picture. I run in auto, high trash, multi tones, conduct, deep off, recovery all depends on amount of trash, pinpoint sizing.

Sweet !!! nice coins

Very nice Rolladex,

A hunted out park just needs a grid change and a swing speed change. Follow these steps that others offered me and you have a brand new park!!

Thanks for sharing,
Moose
