Went through junk bucket, found gold!

Was going through my junk metal bucket last night to get rid of and found a ring that i thought was a junk ring. I realized that it was still shiny. It had no markings but i had it acid tested any way. Turns out it is solid 14k! It pays to double check your junk.

Good save !

That's why you should never throw your "junk" finds out on the way home !
I always dump my plastic Folger's Coffee can out on the work bench when I get home and double check everything before tossing it in the recycle bin.

Recheck w/18k acid, the color appears to be very rich, if you did a 14k test it will pass, but I would check it was 18k. That style of ring appears to be of Middle eastern, the middle eastern love 18&24k. I used to work in a Pawn shop took in much gold.
