I want to start by saying that all my hunts are on public land. Mostly public parks. I was at the park I found these coins at (and the rings in my other post) a few months ago and a park worker stops me and says, "Do you know how many people detect out here?" He said to me "you would not belive it" So this makes the story even better. So I go to the park and start detecting. I was really concentrating on the targets that I thought would be deeper older coins. There really was not a whole lot of clad where I was hunting. To make a long story short. I was able to get a dime slam or whatever you call it.....and also a nickel slam. I also got this token from 1910. Notice the swastica on it? Kind of weird. Found several wheat pennies and some clad too but did not take a picture of them. Can't say enough about the Etrac. It is one awesome detector.

The swastika has been used for centuries. Its a form of good luck symbol. 1910 was way before WW2. Nice finds !

Some info on your token

That was a boyscout good luck token. The original uniform shoes were all made by the excelsior shoe company. I think the token came with a pair of shoes. I have seen a couple found in the past, but they don't seem to be "common" finds. I have no idea what the $ value is for them in dug condition. I think they are great finds!

Of course, all those finds were great, but the token and the silver were tops in my book.

Great looking finds Bill! Thanks for the pictures.
