What a Mix...IHs, Silver, Covention ID, 1939 World's Fair!

Two hours of MDing heaven. I grew up in Northern NY near the Canadian border. Met with my old neighbor from the 60s and chatted about the history of his house and the area...he was more than happy about me detecting on his property! First find was an Indian Head, then another, then 1964-D quarter...I'm liking this. Got lots of beer money, the WWII solder, and, another, Catholic medallion. The 1865 IH is nice, but my favorite find is the 1903 delegate ID medal for the Foresters of America convention in Binghamton, NY. I also recovered an 1837 Canadian bank token, but gave it to my old neighbor as a "thank you". Good times.

Great hunt and wonderful variety of finds. That delegate medal is one super find. :beers: Here's to you. HH jim tn

Really great finds. The 1903 suspension badge with hanger is so cool to find attached. Your 1939 WF token looks great, I got a heavily fertilized one this year.
Congrats!

What an outstanding hunt. It must have been very rewarding when looking at those finds ! :clapping:

Another great hunt, AJ! I really enjoy your finds - that Forester's badge is a beauty!

I looked up the Forester's of America. Naive me thought it was a convention of people who cut down trees for a living. Hmm, another Elk's, Mason's, gathering of like-minded people. When I first dug it, it was dirty, I was sweaty, thought it may be war medal. Cool. All I did was put it under running water and I saw "foresters", and an elk, "1906"...cool.
