I hate to think about scrapping these pretty little silver rings and am wondering if any of you sell them some how?
I'm thinking of getting some of those ring boxes like the jewelers have, and selling them at the wifes garage sale...along with all the other jewelry, hot wheels cars, tokens, etc. and whatnot...I'd think a silver ring in good shape would get 20 bucks, no? They dont really weigh a whole lot..even some of the "junk" rings look pretty good. Anybody have any success at selling for cash local and not on the internet?

I don't get attached to any of it. I have a local jeweler that will pay better then melt price if the piece has a decent stone or two. Otherwise, every couple of years I sell my gold and silver to a refinery. Of late, ARA. Selling helps to support my addiction to this grand hobby. HH jim tn

last year...it was amazing...she just cleaned em up and put em out, every kid that came through begged Mom for a quarter to get a car. Come to think of it, I never saw a nickle of that money!
I know I have enough of those rings and stuff to sell to get that big coil from you Bart! along with the 5"..

Mine gets sold for it's melt value, and as I did not purchase the stuff to begin with, it's a win win for me, and the metal detector has paid for it's self with the finds made this year already, and it's only April !

I sit on mine. Prices will continue to rise, despite the occasional pump & dump the big precious metal manipulators do.

Just send them down here to the 'zoo' mudpuppy,I'll take them off your hands haha, just kidding!! One would think you could get something for 'em. I would go with jmtn advise, wouldn't cost nothing for a jeweler to tell you what he thinks there worth....hh rick in mi.
