What do you do with a guy who digs deep holes and leaves his trash behind ???

No difference then taking your dog for a walk and not cleaning up after they got to the bathroom. Respect is everything when in a public place. If it is your back yard I don't give a shit , when you go to the park or any place that is not your own clean up and cover your holes and pick up after your animals common sense .
 
Sadly here in Oz, these days id say 80% of recent digs on gold in the goldfields are left open.
Now n then covered in but majority are left as they dug them.

I'm a little lost. I can't find OZ on my map.
It sure ain't in Kansas.
 
First I would introduce myself. And ask him how long he’s been detecting. Then I would tell him the first thing I learned when detecting starting off. Always cover your holes up and put your trash in your pouch or the garbage can. I’ll also tell him someone has been leaving their trash on the ground from recent digs. And that makes us that enjoys the hobbies look bad. I would try and get the point across without sounding like a arsehole. Then the sig 45 cal I carry on my side might be intimidating.
