What does your stash of goodies look like??

Started tonight looking at some things found years ago stashed in boxes. Then just pulling and looking at a jar of tokens, after awhile of rumaging through ,had this mess all laid out.(figured I would share) Only coins pictured are wheats ,about 500 of them. The rest, and I know its impossible to tell whats what,the most of it is what I call goodies(not quite junk). But some of this stuff is nice finds. Buttons, tokens, rings(some nice ,most not) ,,keys ,penants,charms, dodads, things ,things and things. You know what I mean. This is about half of what I have, not counting the good stuff, just goodies.

Would be interesting to see a few pics of some other collections of goodies. My girlfriend may see that I'm not the only collector and what I have is minor.

One very interesting find (among many)is a heavy gold plated Nash key. 50th golden anniversary from 1902-1952. I have looked many times and find one like it or even close.

- - not neatly stacked and organized like yours. All my jewelry and silver are in separate boxes of their own.
I never really thought about getting it all sorted out like that. Maybe one day when I have the spare room back...

I believe you 100%.. I have not been at this very long(6-7 yrs, I really can't remember) and I have crap everywhere it seems.I can only imagine the hoard 2-3 decades would bring.
Figured someone would have a few pics though.

We'll be adding the 5 cent piece to the collection of 1&2 cent pile soon by the sounds of things..
That pile looks a bit like mine.Just wondering, is that a sieve full of old pennies etc.
If so not a bad collection at all.

Nice collection!I really like that display case/box. One of my old buddies has an awesome display in his garage. We travel lite in the RV(yeah, right, with all my machines)but seriously we try to keep all the jewelry in a safe deposit box that we have in town. I've got several of those tupperware containers filled with keeper coins in storage at one of our rent houses(with my other, older machines). 5 gallon buckets filled with trash/junk that I still need to go through and check out. It would be cool to gather it all up like you did and take photos. Some day, maybe. We should all be proud of our finds. I always like to see a fellow detectorist proudly showing thier collection and yours is quite nice.Thanks for sharing!Happy Hunting!

yeah aushunter i forgot to put pennys with the picture. if the 5c coins go i'll be stuck with way more unuseable coins as i get 6-7 5s to every 1c-2c i dig.

When I started I bought the biggest tackle box, with the most cubby holes I could find and figured it would last me a while. I filled it in about 6 months. I now use it for yearly finds and at the end of the year I transfer everything to their permanent homes. The best stuff (unique US coins, foreign coins, old buttons, pins, interesting fobs, religious artifacts) goes in 2x2s in various binders. Those binders started out as 1 inchers and are now 3-5 inchers. Bigger relics ( locks, keys, bullets, mini balls, toys, boy scout items, musical instrument pieces, buttons, flatware, knives, fishing tackle and on and on and on) in large craft storage boxes by category. Silver and gold jewelry, gold and silver coins, in a lock box awaiting final disposition. Either scrapped, given as gifts, or hoarded. Interesting rings in a 72 space ring display case. Junk jewelry in great big craft box which is almost full too. Common date wheats in a jar that started out quite small and keeps getting bigger and bigger. Toy cars in a big Rubbermaid tub. I keep most of the various trays and boxes in an old computer printer stand. My collection is well organized and I like to keep most of it together for now. I have scrapped a lot of jewelry and I bank my clad on a monthly basis. I keep a separate bank account for MD loot and I spend it only on big ticket items that I'll have for a long time. This year I've bought two pistols, a 1 ounce gold coin, some common date US silver coins, and a certified 1916D dime. I still have almost 3 grand saved too awaiting a new high end Garrett detector.

That key is really nifty! I know just where I'd keep it if I found it.
