What I did with my 2008 gold and silver.

I mentioned this coin a while back. These pics suck I know. I guess I need sunlight. I hate photographing shiny gold with this camera. Box is mahogany and is a work of art in itself. Coin is the original design of the St Gaudens Double Eagle in Ultra High relief. It is 24Kt gold and weighs 1 ounce. It is very thick at 4mm. The Mint moves the price around every week. It has been as high as $1350 and went on sale for $1189 which is what i paid for it. I was going to buy a new detector and now have to save up again. My MD savings account is down to 70 bucks. I also have a CD with 2 grand but it matures in early 2010.
