What type thermometer?

Had a permission hunt today where an old homestead used to be (most likely 1890s and torn down 1960s). No coins but one interesting find was this piece, only shows increments from 80 to 110 and I think brass. No other markings. Google search doesn’t show but I may not be wording it right.

I believe that it is a type of "Hygrometer", often used to check the effective operating range of vehicle coolant.
That's my guess.

Guess I’m still stuck on the numbers. 110 is “pee warm” as Aunt Ella used to say, did those old engines run that cool???

The graduations may well not be in degrees. There's no ° or F after the numbers that would indicate temperature.

It appears to be an incubation ( ex. Chicken eggs) thermometer.
To the right you can see the letter “H” this is the first letter to the word “high”.
Below there should be 103 ( for degrees in temperature)
Below the 103 there is the word “ low”
