What would be a good travel beach scoop? My r t g 6" Monster is too big to take

I am wondering if the the wooden handled scoops are detachable. This Reilly's 6" monster will not go on a plane. I could maybe buy a broomstick once I get to the beach. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

The wooden handle scoop i have is detachable,it is the Stealth Scoop,but it would require a shovel handle,available at any Home Depot or Lowes.
 
Thanks to both of you. I was actually looking into those Stealth Scoops. Now I've just got to sell this one of mine so the wife lets me get one for travel.
