What's the Choice for Ohio Dirt

I hunt mostly farm fields and parks for coins. What Tesoro do I want for the soil here in Ohio. I have hunted with Minelab and Garrett before and am ready to go Tesoro. I like the sound of a 2 and 1/2 lb detector. Thanks in advance for your advise.

Are you in the Black Swamp western side of Oh, or the north east chert clay mix? It may make a difference in the reply.

I'd lean to any model with the manual ground balance. It's the best bet in more mineralized areas and will never (if properly set) be a handicap in any other location. That gives you a choice of the Tejon, Vaquero, and the Outlaw.

The Tejon does fine just across the border in Huntington WV and over in KY. I also think one with manual GB is the way to go.
