Wheat Harvest

Harvesting the Wheat today. Beat my single hunt wheat harvest record of 11 with 13 today, Kept saying there's got to be silver here,
scored 5 wheats before I grabbed the 1942 Mercury Dime, then another 7 wheats before I scored the 1951 Rosie. The Merc was under
a big tree root from a tree that was recently cut down. The oldest wheat is 1920 the newest is 1957.

That's great..

Since I first started hunting in the very early '70s, the ratio of wheats to silver dimes has always been (generally) between 7 and 10 to one.

Over all the years, that ratio has never changed...I don't know why...it's just the way it is.

Edit: Looks like you got a folded tax token there, as well?

Nice finds that's for sure when you find lots of wheats silver is there! I hit 49 wheats one day in a park and 10 silvers and about $9.00 in clad!
