Wheates, Silver, and a cool Token found today.

I obtained permission to hunt an old infirmary today. The place was built in 1911, and was later turned into a Bed & Breakfast. I posted a pic of it I found on the internet. The trash was a major problem at this location, but I did manage to find several good finds. I was able to pull a 1946 Quarter, a 1943 Merc, 7 wheates, and a 1901 Georgia State Fair Token in Savannah, Georgia. I thought it was a large cent at first, and nearly passed out, but this was really neat too.
Thanks for looking

Great finds! Wish I could find an old place like that around here to hunt. That's a beautiful house.

For sale? Wonder if they take payments in dirty clad? :detecting:

Nice digs! That looked like a fun place to hunt! I agree with the others....bound to be more there! I like the token!

Thanks : tnvarmint, If they take dirty clad, that would be a a good excuse for me to hunt more. :heh:

Thanks carcur. They were fun to find.

Thanks NebTrac. The token is my favorite find of the day.

Thanks : The_Machine

Nice Finds!! Congratulations!

Nice finds Brian, that does look like a cool place. Could you do me a favor, since the house is empty, could you ask if I could come up there and house sit and take care of the grounds until it sells??? I like that token as well, nice. -- Randy

Hey Randy. It's actually still occupied. She and her husband have separated within the last few months. It's a shame you are married, the lady seems really lonely.

Well now, that's a pretty good day! Awesome finds, I really think the tokens and medallions are cool.

awesome finds. what a great day. i think i like finding tokens more than anything. im gonna give it a shot tomorrow maybe I'll have a little luck

Thanks Idaho PRB & desertdawg . I'll tell you what, the more dirt that come off of this token, the more cool things I see. It says "Nov 6-16" on it was well. I mean, how cool it has the actual dates it ran. It also shows a horse plow, wheat bundle, ect. This may be one of my favorite finds ever. My students just loved looking at it today.

Hey Brian-----Neat finds, that site really paid off for ya.----That token is MIGHTY COOL!----Keep up the good work.---------Del
