Where does the Ace 250 pinpoint a target?

The one thing I have never had any luck figureing out with my Ace 250 is where the standard coil pinpoints a target. Can anyone tell me where the Ace 250's stanard coil pinpoints a target???

Also if anyone can tell me how to get one of those smilly faces on messages and reponses???

You pinpoint shallow targets under the 12 o'clock position of the inner coil. If you listen to how the audio breaks off, it gives you a big clue as to whats under the coil. If a target is hard to pinpoint or deep, then you use the cutout in the middle. o use this, go over your target with the pinpoint engaged. When you think it is close to the centre, release then press again, the pinpoint target. This will shrink the target and normally leaves only the front half of the inner coil active. When you slide the coil forward, the point where the signal drops off, will be in the cut out. Practice on a coin that you put on the ground.
To use the smiley faces, just click on the yellow smiley face just above where you are typing.
