I really am being nice with my reply, so please don't get offended!

They were some severe issues between him and some folks in higher places that couldn't be resolved and so in the end Bill Ladd is no longer a part of this forum. Forum staff tried to work things out with Bill and the other parties, but the damage was just to deep and due to bitter post and ongoing conflicts Bill is gone. (I know it's sad)

Its probably not my responsibility to do this post but I feel I needed to because like you I did the same thing, I started a post here asking about B.L. and it was that topic that was the last topic that Bill posted in before he got banned. Also like you I didn't mean any harm, but it didn't turn out that way!

So, don't look for this topic to be here long because it can only lead to problems, even open discussions would just lead to better post between B.L's friends and foes.

Oh, and another welcome to the forum!

And like Elton stated, they are several seasoned users here of the F75 I'm sure they would love to chime in and help.
My brother forum member "WV62" has had his F75 for awhile now, heck ring his bell, his retired, kicked back in BIG sofa-recliner and mug of hot coffee and a wireless laptop waiting for something to post LOL! (must be nice)

Good post Mark there is plenty of great knowledge out there on both fisher forums F75, 1270 , 1266, 1265 and so on, all they have to done is post the questions. Good going.

I don't know him and have never corresponded with Bill Ladd. Obviously, he is a skilled detectorist. He was making videos when not a lot of folks in this hobby were which gained him a following. A following I recall him referring to as his "minions" in one of his posts.

I have dealt with First Texas several times.

Starting at the top with Dave Johnson, everybody at FT has gone the extra mile for me.

This forum is fortunate to have someone who is arguably metal detecting's finest engineer as well as the head of customer service following our posts, contributing their knowledge, and solving problems here. It ain't happenin' on the other manufacturer forums.

It's a lot safer for the higher ups of a company to not be directly involved. Saves on dental expenses too...

I have had very minor contact with almost everyone involved in the recent conflict and there sure are some raw nerve/hurt feelings! I know nothing of what and why and don't want to. I like everyone of them and think both sides have said things beyond what was right to say public or privately. My prayer is for healing and reconciliation. I am looking forward to that day!
