dirt doctor said:I guess the ideal thing would be to really learn one detector really well and have an identical one as a spare but it is too late for me I've sampled too many to just be happy with one .I feel different ones are good in different situations .I usually switch off between using an Explorer SE , White's M6 or Troy X2 . Funny thing is I've been married to the same woman for 40 years .
---I thought it was a pretty good idea.
----ANYWAY, we (my wife & I) own & use SEVERAL (different) types/styles of detectors.----We have a use/need for EACH & EVERY one of them---and if I can't name a reason for haveing them at the moment---I'll dream one (reason) up--real quick!!---In other words--I'm something of a 'tector-holic"
-------Seriously, we are able to travel some & thus able to detect pretty much year around.---So we DO make good use of all the detectors we have.-----Know 'em ALL well??---I put a lot of hrs. behind all of them but I'm sure I could know them better.---I've always believed a person don't/can't get the full potential out of a machine(s) if you are useing more than a couple (three at the most).-----My problem is, I don't practice what I preach!!---It's just that they (tectors) are SO NEAT!!
----You know what I'm talkin about, don't ya??
