Hey fellow diggers, Minelab is running a contest where you submit a video telling why you love metal detecting. Those of you that know me, or have watched my videos, know that I'm in a wheelchair. My purpose in posting a video was to let people know that no obstacle is too big to overcome. Please check it out, and if you know somebody with a disability or some health issues that is looking for a hobby, show it to them, too. I can't adequately explain the sense of independence it has given me. I do have to mention that I've since found out you have to have a Facebook account to vote. Please feel free to friend request me and I'll add you so you can vote each day. I'd really appreciate it. Here is my video:

Done.

Thanks guys. BSC, what is that truck? At first I thought a Ford, but that doesn't seem right... Do you have a bigger picture?

Thanks for posting the great video Roger !

Good luck this season !

Sorry Roger... I feel like I am stealing from your original post here.
The truck started life as a service truck for my friends service station in 1959. It has been retired from work duty these days.
It is my icebreaker when I go out looking for new places to go metal detecting, the long box on the side of the bed in the picture is where I keep my E-Trac. BSC

No problem. The only thing I'm more passionate about than metal detecting (and Husker football) is classic cars. We bought my son a 1970 Nova when he was 8 years old.

Hello Roger; Im glad you are still able to get out and metal detect and I am sure your video will
be a help to those who have physical problems that would like to detect. Thanks; Jim D
