WHITES CLASSIC II SL?

I got this from mother,it has a stock coil what coils can i put on it,and what kinda depth can i expect to get? thanks for the help

The classic I and II are pretty much stuck with the stock 8" coil unless you send it off to Mr. Bill for mods.

While considered by many to be a entry level beginners metal detector, the Whites Classic II SL can be fun to use by both a beginner as well as an experienced person. Under normal soil conditions you can get a solid repeatable signal on a penny at a depth of five to six inches, same with a dime...six to seven inches for a quarter. It is light weight and easy to use. Set the discrimination where you accept pull tabs and you should have no problem finding a gold ring...you will have to dig lots of tabs but eventually you should find a gold ring. I recommend that you put some fresh batteries in it and have some fun. Kelley (Texas) :)
