Has anybody had any luck using the whites coinmaster? I just got into the hobby. I talked to a whites dealer and he told me that one would a good one to start with. I beg to differ. I sweep over things that it should pick up, but it dont. I,m just wondering when i,m out there how many things i,m going over that its not picking up?. This stuff is all new to me. So please reply.

It sounds like your dealer needs to spend a little time with you. The Coinmaster is a great entry level detector and should not miss anything up to 6 inches or so if you have your discriminator accepting that target.

got one a week ago had some good finds until i noticed the coil started to seperate and grass got stuck in it. sent it back to be repaired, follow up when i get to use it more.

detector was a prizm 3 essentially the same machine. Try a new set of battery's even if low battery is not on. I made great coin and civil war relic finds at respectable depths with the prizm 3. Its the machine that got me hooked. Joe.
