Whites repair.

I need to ship a detector to Whites to be fixed. Do i need to call them first or just ship with a note of whats wrong?

Depending on what is wrong, I would call first especially if it is a coil related problem. They have been known to send a replacement coil without having to send your unit in.

Thanks. No its a board problem the digits on the screen wont show sometimes. I bought it used from a dealer last year not knowing it was a refurb until i saw the sticker inside the battery cover. I think that i got to use it once!

I would call first - I believe ya get warranty w/refurb units....how cool is that???

If you bought it from a dealer as new, and it was actually a refurb, I would not be dealing with that dealer any more...

Getting my Prizm v back tomorrow. Whites fixed it at no charge.Gotta love it!

definatly call them first they might save the expence of mailing the detector to them
